No, it's not canceled. Just paused. I really need to rethink what I want to do with the comic.
You see, Far-Fetched is supposed to be a semi-dark Shonen/Shoujo comic. Instead, it's a slice of life.
I started the comic as a slice-of-life, and the plan was to get darker and darker over time.
The truth is, and I've realized this recently, I hate it when that happens in media. When my favorite stories just get so dark, I can't even finish the series. Harry Potter and How To Train Your Dragon comes to mind. I didn't finish the last book of those two series', simply because it got too dark and I no longer enjoyed them.
Do I really want to go down the same path with Far-Fetched?
I can probably fix this and keep the same tone the comic has going so far, but that also involves me throwing the entire plot out the window. Therefore, I don't want to move forward until I have ideas in mind again. Sorry guys
But hey! Meanwhile I'm working on the new comic Second Soul. You actually have no idea excited I am about that. Remember how I would talk about how much history Far-Fetched would have for me, since it starred the first characters I ever made in Comipo?
Well, Second Soul stars some of the first OCs I ever made, period.
Literally, I've had these people in the back of my head for YEARS. And I'm not making the comic on a whim, I've had it in the back of my head for almost half a year now.
Also PTR is ongoing. I'm just gonna take regular breaks with it. Believe it or not, but it's not always easy to pull out jokes and comedy. I'm actually REGULARLY tempted to take a darker route with Plot Twist... Which is pretty much why I need a more serious story to work on. I NEED TO POUR MY ANGST INTO SOMETHING.
Wat do you mean I have the "Gaia World Series" for my angst? Sure, but music videos take effort and I can't do that all the time, lol XD
/rant.
(Now if you excuse me, I have a SEVERELY over-due birthday wish to make, and a request from a friend, lol :'D)

Chapter One Complete!
After a little over a year, EleMental Chapter One is finished. And funnily enough, both sooner and later than I originally planned. Later than planned in the sense that my goal for this year was to complete volume one. That's, uh, obviously a little while off, and I have adjusted my expectations accordingly. ^^; Sooner than planned in the sense that I actually cut the chapter in half on account of the fact that it was getting way too long. Chapter One ended at 84 pages, which means my trend of 80+ first chapters continues! I swear this is not on purpose. Regardless, hopefully from now on chapters will be a little more condensed. We'll also start hitting some more plot-relevant shenanigans soon. I know this was perhaps a little misleading for a first chapter, but everything that happened was really important for a certain reason. Chapter 2 will begin shortly, although I cannot promise how regular updates will be. I have exams in January, so I gotta focus on that. But here's to more
Off to College
Oof, yep, I've come that far. I've graduated secondary school, I've gotten my results, and I'm off to college tomorrow.
Still doesn't feel real, haha. ^^;
Anyways, the main reason for this update is because I've received my schedule. Which is actually a pretty decent schedule, all things considered, if I lived, say, 30 minutes away.
But you see, I live in a teeny tiny farm/commuter village in the middle of nowhere. I live 2 hours away.
So yeah, my schedule is actually pretty packed. We're talking getting up at 6:30/7:00 in the morning, and not getting home until 7 in the evening.
Now, luckily I do get weekends and Tuedays off, but chances a
CHAPTER 6 IS FINALLY FINISHED
Chapter 6 of Second Soul has finally finished! And the main reason this is such a big deal is because I started this chapter on July 7th 2018. That's over a year ago.
Now this is mostly due to the fact that I was in my final year of secondary school, which took a huge toll on my health, and consequently, I wasn't actually working on that chapter for most of that year. But even so, this has been a nightmare of a chapter, since there was so much stuff going on that was super important for characters, and since this chapter took so long, it underwent multiple major changes mid-chapter.
So, oof, I'm glad to be done with that.
Hahahahahaha.... ne
Superheroes, man
I'm planning out stuff for Second Soul, and I gotta say, sometimes trying to decide what does and doesn't make it into the final cut can be such a challenge.
Like, I'm trying to tell a coherent story that takes itself somewhat seriously (which, admittedly is very different from my past projects, just look at Plot Twist), and I want it to have a very fixed universe with established magic laws. A story that tells itself very seriously.
And yet at the same time, I wanna include dumb stuff like a time-travel arc.
I know, weird. But I'm watching some superhero stuff at the moment from multiple different sources. (IE: One Punch Man, Miraculous L

I see. Well seems fair.
One piece is an interesting case in which it descends into something considerably dark mid way through to lead into the time skip but come after the time skip it seems to balance back into the tone the series mostly had before.
